The Charlotte Observer recently published a series of articles exploring the diagnosis and treatment of SIDS, or Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. The series evoked passionate support as well as opposition, all in the context of a search for deeper understanding of this mysterious condition. We have invited one of the reporters of the series, as well as one of those critical of the writing, to join us in hopes of learning more about SIDS.
