After spending years in Los Angeles, Ree Drummond made what she thought would be a short stop in her Oklahoma hometown, on her way to a new life in Chicago. Instead, Drummond met a cowboy she calls the Marlboro Man. Drummond fell in love, married and had four children with the Marlboro man but she also fell in love with a simple life and a new way of cooking. She has written a New York Times bestselling cookbook called The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Recipes from an Accidental Country Girl. Ree Drummond shares her love story and her recipes with us.

  1. This is just *great*! I’m in New Mexico, but my daughter who lives in Charlotte told me about it–so glad she did! Thank you, thank you for doing this interview, I appreciate it so much.
