Please don’t tell my parents that I HATE jello salad. They make it every holiday. I have politely eaten it my entire life. I can’t bear to tell them I despise it.

I have only one receipt for Bread that sits out over night. It uses only 1/4 tsp of yeast and 3/4 cup of warm water and 1/2 tsp salt and 3 T of Honey and 4 cups of all purpose flour. Let it rise over night then roll it out and shape, let set for 2 hours then back in a dutch oven inside an oven set at 450 degree for 30 minutes with the cover on and then 15 minutes with the cover off.
I would like more receipt like this one, if you have any ideas, please.

Loving the show—but noone has mentioned Dish (across the street from Penguin’s). Great comfy food and fantastic comfy environment. Meatloaf is my standing order. Our Executive Team stayed in town for their annual planning retreat this year and Dish was our unanimous choice for lunch!

RICE! When I was a child, my mom fixed hot rice with sugar, cinnamon, and butter. I still love anything with rice, but it has to be hot. Rice salads leave me cold.

What was the Cuban resturant recommendation from one of the guests? I missed the name. I love Cuban food and would like to go to it.

Glad you mentioned Fran’s Filling Station, that place rocks! The food is terrific and the service is warm and friendly. We’ve seen enough pretension in so called “casual restaurants” and this one really is a come as you are kinda place.

For a pot roast treat go to Mcoys Smokehouse on Old Pinevile Rd. They make a pit roast pot roast that spends time in the smoker. It rocks!!!!
They also have off the hook smoked chicken wings, best wings EverRRRR

Which restaurant was mentioned that made pierogi?

I think it was a farmers market. I have Yorkmont Road Farmers Market written down. I think its probably the Charlotte Regional Farmers Market, 1801 Yorkmont Road. Hope this helps!

One of the guests said that Sweet Ts Diner was closed. I called them today and they are open and they have cupcakes everyday.
