Wednesday July 22, 2009 | Future of Iraq with Iraqi Students
July 21, 2009 at 12:20 pm | Posted in Coming Up | 2 CommentsIraq and its people have seen major change in the past few years. How is this change affecting the youth of Iraq, and what kind of leaders will those young people be when they reach adulthood? We’ll meet teens from Iraq who are in Charlotte for a leadership and cultural education experience. We’ll talk with them and with an expert on Iraq about what has happened and what is still happening in that country, how it has affected them, and as potential future leaders of Iraq, what they are learning at home and here in the US that will make them successful.

Great show; impressive young people. Disappointed not more chatter on this discussion — hope it does not indicate a lack of interest. Multiculturism is so important to all our growth; too often I fear we expect others to learn our culture with no real effort by us to learn theirs. Thank you for this show.

Really enjoyed today’s show with the students.
Great job interviewing too.
Please do it again – I like hearing how we are perceived by others in other parts of the world.
