Thursday March 26 | From Farm to Fork

Most of us aren’t very connected with the source of the food we eat. That piece of chicken in the grocery store barely resembles the animal from which it came. The Charlotte Observer’s Kathleen Purvis noticed this and did a series tracing one animal’s journey. She joins us to trace a similar path to see how such a journey can be done in a healthy, humane fashion.

  1. Did Kathleen try to get into a processing plant such as Smithfield? Something tells me that wouldn’t allow it? I love Grateful Growers!

  2. Thanks Mike for bringing such an important message to the public. The Foods you consume make a significant impact on your health and quality of life. Making the investment to learn how to live a sustainable, healthy lifestyle through nutrition and stress management can dramatically improve consistent health issues.
