We’ll take a look at this widespread and preventable disease.

Mike coulda asked the iphone email writer why he had an iphone if money is so tight for him. This guy is the classic answer to why we should not have single payer healthcare. Mike seems to love to ask people that oppose socialized medicine if they personally have insurance, as though they were just lucky to have it… meanwhile this guy is symptomatic of why a system is not sustainable. If we go single payer suddenly I’ll have questions about what he eats, if he exercises and what he’s spending his discretionary income on [and it better not be iphones over his healthcare obligations]. Freedom means you are on your own. If people do not want to be on their own they should at least have the decency to admit they’re losing liberty and want to cause their neighbors to lose theirs in order to sustain them.
