  1. Senator Hagel,

You are one of the handful of Republicans, who seem to have an abiding attachment to truth and reality…and I appreciate your courage in maintaining high standards even while your party fell into a deep hole of greed, untruth, hatred, perversion and mediocrity.

Is it because the GOP have to vie for polluters and the Military-Industrial Complex, where truth can be problematic?

    Welcome to Charlotte!

  2. No BS here, do you HONESTLY believe there will ever be peace in the Middle East?

Looking forward to reading your book. Have you read Robert Baer’s The Devil We Know? If so, can you comment?

    Thanks.

  3. In this season of fear and smear, it is a pleasure to hear an intelligent and reasoned discussion of the very serious issues that confront our next president.

    Thank you!

  4. I would like to thank Senator Hagel for addressing the unsavory tactics employed in campaigns today. I strongly believe that our society must take the responsibilty to educate ourselves on the issues. As busy Americans we rely on news reports that are often biased, two minute messages in debates and thirty second commercials. This is simply not enough information to make such an important decision, we are in effect reducing politics to buzz words and smear campaigns. We must change if we seek change in our government.

Thank you Mike for keeping Charlotte thinking, and thank you again Senator Hagel-should your path lead you in a direction where I find your name on my ballot, you have my vote Sir.
