Part One: Rachel Vanslyke, Bicycling Musician
We’ll meet Rachel Vanslyke, a musician who has made a name for herself not only by writing award-winning songs, but by going on tour not in a bus, but on her bicycle. We’ll talk to her about songwriting, performing, hear some of her music, and talk about life on tour… on a bike!

Rachel Vanslyke – Musician, won Clear Channel’s 2006 “Song of the Year”

Part Two: CAST Theatre’s Metamorphoses
CAST Theatre in Charlotte is known for “experiential theatre.” They transform their entire space- not just the acting area, but the lobby, box office, and bathrooms- to reflect the world of the play they are presenting. Their latest offering, Metamorphoses, takes experiential theatre to new depths as the play takes place around, in and under water.
Guests
Michael Simmons – Director of Metamorphoses
Robert Lee Simmons – Technical Director, Metamorphoses
