The battle between religion and science has been long and storied. Some feel that the relationship between science and religion is incompatible while others feel quite comfortable blending the two. We’ll get the perspective of the Former Director of the Vatican Observatory.

    Scientists have always tried to understand God and Religion in their own way but we need more religious figures accepting validity of Science (it is ironic that most of the initial forays in science was all by pastors and other religious figures but this is lost somewhere, somehow over the decades). I have seen religious figures blasting science and scientists and at the same time using all that science provides starting with the microphones they preach from.
