Friday, February 22, we’ll be joined by Dr. Larry Agenbroad, a real life Mammoth Hunter. He was the only American to participate with an international team of scientists who raised an almost complete wooly mammoth from its frozen Siberian tomb in 1999. Here in the U.S. at the Hot Springs Mammoth Site, he oversees the excavation of a huge sinkhole where dozens of wooly mammoths have been idetified. He’s in town as the featured speaker at the Schiele Museum’s Fossil Fair this weekend, but first joins us to talk about mammoths.
